The Craft Hub – A Creative Space for Our Community

The refurbished Men’s Shed and Craft Hub in Strontian is almost ready to open its doors – and we can’t wait to welcome you in.

This vibrant, community-led space has been carefully transformed into a warm and welcoming centre for hands-on creativity, learning, and connection.

Before and during our renovations…

….and after!

A Space to Create

At the heart of the building is a spacious, fully equipped workshop, complete with benches, tools, and everything needed for individual or group projects. Whether you’re into woodwork, crafts, upcycling, or DIY, there’s space and support here for you to get stuck in.

At the other end of the building, you’ll find a flexible communal space with a large table – ideal for craft sessions, group meetings, shared learning, and social get-togethers.

Plans for the Outdoors

We’re also developing the outdoor area to include raised beds, seating, and additional workspace – perfect for sunny days, gardening activities, and larger-scale projects that need a bit more room.

Extending Our Reach

Alongside our work in Strontian, we’re excited to be working with the community in Polloch to transform a newly acquired space into a functional workshop and storage facility. This expansion will help us support even more creativity, connection, and skill-sharing across our local area.

Working Together

We’re keen to partner with local residents, groups, and charities who could benefit from using the Craft Hub. Whether you’re looking to run a session, start a new project, or simply find space to work or connect with others – we’d love to hear from you.
