Upcoming event:  Strontian Clothes Swap – Saturday 22nd October, from 2pm

Strontian Village Hall

Entry: free with donated items, or £3 per adult otherwise (under 16s free)

Bring your un-loved good quality items, things your child has grown out of that still have plenty of wear in, the suit that’s just that wee bit too snug, or that dress you just can’t find the occasion for!

For every item you donate, you will get 1 token to redeem against another item of clothing. More items can be purchased for a small donation.

Justine Dunn will be on hand to do alterations and adjustments. Tea, coffee and cake provided

Clothes can be donated the week in advance – simply drop into the library.

Calling all Sunart Moorings Holders and Jetty Users

The annual fees for the moorings at the head of Loch Sunart are now due. SCC has to pay these every year to Crown Estate Scotland.  Invoices will be delivered shortly to all moorings holders, and in some cases these will be back dated several years as there have been some paperwork delays and some moorings holders  now owe for a few years. We’d like to thank all those who have already paid up or who make regular payments. We would also like to appeal to all regular users of the jetty and slipway that this facility costs over £350 per annum in rent and insurance. The charity would be very grateful for any donations  – one or off – or an annual amount towards retaining the jetty. Donations can be made via our website  – just use your surname and Jetty as the reference – thank you.

Save the Date – Oakwood Christmas Market

Tis the season…(nearly!). Our Christmas Market will take place again this year at the Sunart Centre on Saturday 25th November. Get that date in your diary! For those interested in taking a stall, please contact Karyn at oakwood@sunartcommunitycompany.co.uk

Burn’s Supper and AGM

Yet another date for your diary, folks! Our first ever combined AGM and Burn’s Supper was such a hit, that we are getting organised and planning ahead for the next one. Join us at the Ariundle Centre on Saturday 27th January – more details and booking information to follow on Sunart Community Company’s social media pages (Facebook and Instagram), and in the next Dè Tha Dol update!

  • I note that you ask that payment of mooring fees can be made through your website but unfortunately I cannot find anywhere on this website where I can make my payment or how much I need to pay. I have had two moorings in the past but now I only have one. I think I last paid my fees in 2022 .
Could you please advise how and how much I am due to pay and what period that covers.

    Thank you
