We’ve just published two new videos, featuring Sarah Traynor, SCC Director and Chair of the Dualchas Sunart Heritage Group, that explain our plans for the development of the Sunart Heritage Centre.
The new Centre will be based in the old Church of Scotland building – the former Strontian Parish Church – and will require significant funding both to protect the 200-year old building from further deterioration and then to create an exciting new facility for the local community. This will include a secure location for the Dualchas and Sunart archives, a display and exhibition space, and a fully digitised resource accessible by local Strontian and Sunart residents as well as visitors from around the world.
